Anne Phung Nguyen

Hello, my name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in beautiful Orange County California with my amazing fiance JP as well as my extremely happy Dad Henry. Most people are acquainted with me via my Instagram @annephung where I record my personal life: highs, lows and everything throughout. In 1990 I moved to America together with my brother and parents after I reached one and a half. If it wasn't for my parents' devotion to hard work and sacrifice, I probably wouldn't even have the privilege of sharing my story. When I realized that I had the potential to have a brighter future and I wanted to achieve my goals and make my parents happy. I thought my life would be a certain way: graduate from college, land an employment opportunity in the corporate world, then marry and begin an family. I believed this was the perfect definition of success, but however, life was not so sure to show me what it meant to be successful. As of 2013, I was dreading going to my corporate job the money and status was not bringing me joyas I believed I was wasting my life in order to earn a living, but I knew I was meant for something more. In my search for this different career option, I discovered that I had a passion for exercising. I also liked socializing and helping others. In 2014, I started my own business. It will be my 7th anniversary in 2021. There are very few Asian women who work in the business. Within the field of coaching I would like create a change by delivering high-quality instruction to help others become healthier and more content. In addition, I wish for others to feel empowered and able to pursue their goals and accomplish whatever they want in their lives. My career began taking off at the time I was enjoying the highest satisfaction in my entire life. My mother passed away at the same time that my career began to take off. After a long battle against the illness, she's at peace on Heaven. I am forever grateful to her and always remember her in my mind and heart. The universe has an ability of giving us exactly what we need even if we are unable to recognize the lesson at this moment. My Mom's passing changed me in many ways, and I believe in the fact that my Mom gave me another opportunity to live my life after her death. It was the Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she passed. She had her chance to start a new chapter in her life, and I got my second chance at living a happy, fulfilling life. As I approach my 30s I feel a sense of living and being alive. I'm no longer feeling as if I'm just another number. As I write this story I would like to hope that my personal experiences can resonate with yours. My hope is that my story will help you realize that you aren't in isolation. That you have the ability to achieve everything you desire. As death is all you have to live, I hope you enjoy every moment of it and end your life with no regrets.
